Please come out to welcome home Specialist Christopher Bixby from his deployment in Afghanistan.

Chris was raised in Glassboro New Jersey by his amazing mother Joanne Bixby.
He is a graduate of Glassboro High School and has been recently attending Rowan University trying to finish his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
Chris has a 13 year old son named Kyle who is his pride and joy.
He decided to join the Army National Guard in 2008 at 33 years old to better himself and his family and to serve his country which is something he always wanted to do.
He is currently a military police officer with the 328th MP Company out of Cherry Hill New Jersey and in his civilian job works as an Alarm Technician for Vector Security.
Within the first three years of being in the Guard he has earned both the Army Achievement Medal and the Army Accommodation Medal.
He earned the Army Achievement Medal for his untiring dedication, demonstrated motivation and enthusiasm which directly contributed to the team’s success during annual training at Fort Indian Gap, PA.
He earned the Army Accommodation Medal for his exceptional achievement as a Stock Control Rep while serving in Afghanistan working with the Joint Task Force.
He was called to duty in August 2010 and in two very short months afterwards, married Brandy.
He served his first deployment to Afghanistan from Jan 2011 to Jan 2012.
Friends, Family, The Warriors Watch, The Yellow Ribbon Club, The New Jersey State Police, The Glassboro Police Department, The Glassboro Fire Department, The Borough of Glassboro and others will be on hand to make some noise and welcome home this Hero in Rock Star style.
