Jordan contacted us in seek of some help trying to locate the owner of  a dog tag he found while medal detecting the other day in New Mexico. The dog tag belongs to the now deceased Dan Griffith.

Dan Griffith was born, December 1, 1931 to Bruce and Georgia Griffith. Dan graduated from Ruidoso High School, attended Carlton College in Minnesota and received a degree in journalism at New Mexico State University in 1952. He was a second Lt in the Air Force and established his own business in Ruidoso, NM by 1961. He married Joan Marie Matthews in 1961 and they had 3 children. (Shaun Griffith Brenton, Dawn Griffith and Georgia Griffith Bates). Dan Griffith died in Ruidoso, NM in 1981.
