We were contacted by Brant, of Ft Worth, TX area about a dog tag acquired in a Goodwill donation and was hoping we could assist in finding the veteran or his family.

We are currently finishing up on the research in hopes they will be able to reunite Murry's dog tag with his family.

Murry J. Mobley was born on March 22, 1932, in Georgia. His father, Pascal, was 39 and his mother, Annie, was 35. He resided in Georgia during his childhood.

Murry J Mobley enlisted in the Army on May 19, 1953. He served until June 21, 1955.

He married Joan Bailey Mobley on August 24, 1962, in Harris, Texas. Joan died at the age 37 and is buried at Prairie View Cemetery, Aransas Pass, TX . They had been married 11 years.

He then married Patsy June Phillips Mobley on April 15, 1976, when he was 44 years old.

On February 1, 1981, in Nueces, Texas, Murry Mobley died at the age of 48, and he is buried in Aransas Memorial Park Cemetery, Rockport, Texas.
