Boyhood Adventures Uncover Family Treasure
As a young boy Jim remembers when he and his friend found an entrance to get under the wrap around porch of his friends house - a cool hideout for the young boys in the height of boyhood adventures. Little did Jim know that one of the little treasures he collected under that porch in Cassville, Missouri would later give a family a great deal of joy.
Although he really didnt understand what a military dog tag was at that age, he held on to it along with his other boyhood memories. Years later, and understanding what he had he decided to try and find who the dog tag belonged to. He called Patriot Connections Dog Tag Project to help.
We are happy to report that although the veteran these dog tags belonged to, Billy Ray Fogg, is deceased, his wife Barbara survives and she has been reunited with her husbands dog tags.
Billy Ray Fogg was born in 1931 in Missouri - he was inducted into the Army in 1952. In 1956 he married Barbara Stiles and had 2 children. He spent a good deal of his life in Cassville, Missouri and Springfield AR before passing away in and passed away in 1985
