thumbnailMissouri River Dog Tag Collection Research & Return

One of the dog tags that Mr Sapp found belongs to George Edward Richardson. He was a lifelong resident of Kansas City and worked at General Motors Corp Leeds assembly plant as a maintenance worker for 31 years before he retired in 1978. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and the Korean War. At the time of his death in 1986, he was widowed (wife Frances L Richardson) and had a brother and 3 sisters, all of which have passed away since then.

Mr Richardson is buried in Forest Hills Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri. David Owen will be adhering Mr Richardsons dog tag to his headstone in the near future. Stay tuned for more....
