Miitary Dog Tags & Ribbons of Thomas H Lee

We were contacted by a Stephen Price (retired Army), looking for some help in finding WWII Veteran Thomas H Lee, or his next of kin. One of their technicians came into possession of his lost dog tags and other identifying documents and ribbons.

We are in the process of locating next of kin as this WWII Hero, Thomas Lee, passed away in 1996. His wife Mary passed away in 2002.

LEE, MARY SMITH (Age 81)Of Stephenson, VA, formerly of Falls Church, VA, died on Saturday, December 21, 2002 at her home. Mrs. Lee was born on December 13, 1921 in Wilkes-Barre, PA, the daughter of the late Walter E. and Maria M. Dunn Smith. She married Thomas H. Lee on September 20, 1946 in Hyattsville, MD. Mr. Lee preceded her in death on April 7, 1996. She was a homemaker during her lifetime and was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Mrs. Lee is survived by two sisters, Catherine R. Glasgow of Silver Spring, MD and Elizabeth J. Cowan of Mecosta, MI; numerous loving nieces and nephews. A sister, Margaret A. Smith, preceded her in death.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2003 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery in Leesburg, VA. Father Stanley J. Krempa will be officiating. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 3 from 2 to 4 p.m. at JONES FUNERAL HOME, Winchester, VA.

Cannot find Obit for Thomas H Lee. However, from Mary's obit it appears they never had any children.

At time of death, resided at157 Whetstone Ct, Stephenson, VA . Property sold in 2003.

No obit located, but grave is next to her parents and sibling, Thomas Lee.
