The New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Foundation will hold its annual New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Remembrance Day ceremony on Monday, May 7th at 11:00 AM. This year’s keynote speaker, Brig. Gen. Michael L. Cunniff, The Adjutant General, New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, will honor numerous veterans for their service by presenting New Jersey state military awards. Awards include the New Jersey Distinguished Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Korean Service Medal and Vietnam Service Medal. (A list of honored recipients is available upon request).
Admission is free for all visitors on May 7th and the Vietnam Era Museum & Educational Center will be open 10 AM to 4 PM. The museum is located adjacent to the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial off the Garden State Parkway at exit 116 in Holmdel. The Memorial is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
