Twentieth NJMOH Ceremony to be held on Thursday, November 6th to honor 10 Veterans who served in the US Army and US Navy during World War I and World War II. These veterans are from Dignity Memorial Funeral Providers of New Jersey, specifically through the cooperation of funeral directors from Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzmann, Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston; Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge; and Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
9:00 am Arrive at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzmann, Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston
9:30 am Ceremony begins
11:00 am Motorcade (motorcycles and all vehicles) departs, with NJ State Police Escort, via Garden State Parkway South
12:15 pm Arrive at Monmouth Service Area, Garden State Parkway southbound, milepost 100
12:45 pm Depart for BG William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ
1:30 pm Arrive at Rear Entrance (Jacobstown/Arneytown Road) BG William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery
2:00 pm Committal Service
All those attending the ceremony in Livingston, be sure to arrive on time as the ceremony will start promptly and end in sufficient time for the 11:00 am departure. Any motorcyclists/vehicles wanting to join the motorcade from the rest area, must be ready (sufficient fuel) to depart by 12:45 pm for the cemetery.
Note: Payment of tolls is the responsibility of all vehicles, EZ PASS is required to remain with the motorcade, for safety reasons the procession cannot be stopped to accommodate vehicles without EZ PASS.
The Patriot Guard Riders and Warriors Watch Riders, along with veterans organizations and state/county/local dignitaries are invited to attend.
All are welcome, those attending the Committal Service must arrive at the cemetery rear entrance (Jacobstown/Arneytown Road) no later than 1:30 PM. Due to construction at the cemetery, everyone must remain at the rear entrance until being escorted by cemetery personnel to the Committal Shelter. Remember to show respect to those already in the cemetery either visiting a grave site and/or attending a committal, refrain from loud and/or excessive noise while awaiting the NJMOH committal service.
