Civil War Preservation Ball
Event Date
The 15th Annual Civil War Preservation Ball will be held in the rotunda of the Pennsylvania Capitol Building on March 10, 2018. All of the profit from this ball goes to the
Gettysburg Monuments Project. Over the years, the ball has raised over $98,000 for preservation at Gettysburg National Military Park!
Attached is an information packet and reservation form.
The Philadelphia Brigade Band will provide the music and the Victorian Dance Ensemble will demonstrate the dances.
To help prepare for the ball, we are conducting Free Civil War Dance Classes on January 28, February 11, and February 25, 2018. Anyone interested in learning to dance is welcome. See the flyer in packet and let us know if you would like to attend all or any of the classes. Reservations are required for the classes because of limited space.
If you are a Pennsylvania resident, you can also show your support for preservation by getting a Pennsylvania Monument License Plate. Information is in the packet.
If you are unable to attend the ball and would like to make a donation to the preservation of Pennsylvania’s Gettysburg Monuments, make your check payable to PA Gettysburg Monuments Project and mail it to Preservation Ball, 2 Westminster Blvd. Camp Hill, PA 17011.
