PATTON, CHARLES R. JR. –
age 84 of Hammonton, NJ passed away peace- fully Saturday July 18, 2015 at home
with his family by his side. Born and raised in Hammonton, NJ, he served in the
U.S Army during the Korean War. Charles worked as an Operating Engineer for
Local 825. He was an honored lifetime member of the Independent Vol. Fire Co. #
2 of Hammonton for over 63 years, past president of the Hammonton Rescue Squad
and a member of the Hammonton American Legion FA Funston Post # 186. Predeceased
by his wife Dorothy (nee King), parents Charles and Ethel and brother James.
Surviving are his children Helen Bellace and her husband Joseph, Charles R.
Patton and his wife Donna, Russell and his wife Marguerite all of Hammonton, NJ.
His sister Margaret Passarella and her husband Mike of Elm,NJ. Loving
Grandfather of Joseph Bellace (Tracy), Jennifer Bellace (Dave), Stacey Arena
(Matt) Amy Heggan (Ricky), Kendall Hovermale (Clark) and Kerri Patton. Great
Grandfather of Tyler Heggan and
Gianna Arena. Family and friends are invited
to attend his viewing Saturday from 9:00am until 11:00am all at the Independent
Volunteer Fire Company of Hammonton 51 N. White Horse Pike with funeral services
offered at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery 124 S. First Rd.
