LOCATION: James J Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Rd, Levittown, PA.
FLAG LINE to be in place by 9:30am. Viewing will be from 10am – 11am, followed by service at 11am. Riders are welcome to join the Motorcycle Escort, led by the Nam Knights, from the funeral home to Bristol Cemetery after services.
DEATH NOTICE
Robert C. Helms passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Jefferson Health Hospice in Warminster at the age of 81.Born and raised in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia, Mr. Helms has been a resident of Bristol Township for over 35 years. He was a proud US Army veteran. Mr. Helms spent his career working as an electrician for Frankford Hospital for over 30 years. He loved trains, especially the HO scale models and was an avid fisherman. Mr. Helms will be remembered as a great father and provider for his family. Beloved husband of the late Patricia (Peplowski), Mr. Helms is the loving father of Joseph Helms (Tina), Patricia “Pattie” Williamson (Dave), Michael Helms (Cynthia Smith) and William Loh (Katheryn). He is the devoted grandfather of 11; proud great grandfather of 7; and dear brother of Annie Rettinger and Myra Worrel. Mr. Helms will also be sadly missed by numerous extended family members. He was predeceased by his wife; sons, Robert C. Jr. and William Helms; and grandson, Bruce Helms. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Bristol Cemetery.
