It is with deep sadness we report the death of Mary Trinko of American LegionPost 960 Levittown, PA – Wife of past Director of Region 6 Legion Riders, Carl Trinko. Funeral details; Tuesday 6/19/18 Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe St., Bristol PA. 7pm-9pm is viewing. And then again Wednesday from 8:30am to 9:15am is another viewing. Wednesday 6/20/18 across the street from funeral parlor is St Marks. Catholic Mass at St Marks 9:30am. Immediately following the mass we will travel to the cemetery. Interment will be at Washington Crossing National Cemetery at 830 Highland Rd Newtown PA at 11:30am. Small celebration of life which will be held at Yardley VFW post 6393 at 1444 Yardley Rd Newtown following the service at the cemetery.
Mary Ellen Trinko passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at St. Mary Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was 52. Born in Manchester, N.H., daughter of the late James G. and Janice Young, she had been a Bristol Borough resident for the past 25 years. Mary Ellen was employed as a daycare teacher at the Lower Bucks Child Care Center. She was a former Boy Scout leader for over 15 years, a member and past president of the PTA at Snyder-Girotti School in Bristol, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and American Legion Riders. She is survived by her husband, Carl M. Trinko; her children, Bruce J. Trinko (Brittney Kennedy), and Tiffany N. Doerler (Michael Doerler); and her two grandchildren, Ciara Rose and Samuel Carl. She is also survived by two sisters, Joy F. Gregoire (Edward) and Deborah A. Torres; two brothers, James G. Young (Kathleen R.) and Patrick A. Young (Anna); along with many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment will be in Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Viewing hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.
