Known but to God: The selection and burial of America’s WWI Unknown Soldier”.

PROGRAM – “Known but to God: The selection and burial of America’s WWI Unknown Soldier” (at the 100th Anniversary).

Gives an overview of the selection of the WWI Unknown Soldier.  This includes background on how the candidate was selected and then his journey home to the US and the ceremonies leading up to his interment in Arlington National Cemetery.  There is a bit of a Marine Corps bent to the talk as that was the agency Kara was working for at the time when she first wrote her article and first created the presentation.

The presentation includes a PowerPoint slideshow with both photos and a few news (movie) clips taken during the events in 1921.

DRESS CODE: Business Attire (Men Coat and Tie – no jeans or sneakers please)

NO CHARGE for the event
