Philadelphia Police Department is Hiring starting January 30, 2017 to February 24, 2017. The Philadelphia Police Department is the nation’s Fourth largest police department, with over 6600 sworn members and 800 civilian personnel. The PPD is the primary law enforcement agency responsible for serving Philadelphia County, extending over 140 square-miles in which approximately 1.5 million reside. This is training level work in general duty police activities involving the protection of life and property, enforcement of laws, and the investigation of crimes. An employee in this class receives formal training at the Police Academy and on-the-job experience preparatory to assuming full patrol duties. Go to http://Join PhillyPD.com to apply.
