POW/MIA Recognition Day ceremony

This ceremony is being hosted by the SJHS Key Club on POW/MIA Recognition Day. The objective is
to remember those who were prisoners of war and those who are missing in action, as well as their
families. We believe that this ceremony will not only honor those men and women, but it will also
bring awareness.
The evening will consist of a Missing Man Ceremony led by some members of The South Jersey Young Marines, a talk from a former POW, or a family member of one (we are currently seeking to fill this position, so if you’re interested, please send an email) , a prayer from the church Pastor, and an invitation to stay for cookies afterward.
We invite anyone interested in bringing a picture or name of a POW/MIA that they would like to honor, or have prayed for to please do so. We will have tables set up for the pictures to be placed so people can see them.
