Join Battleship educators for a socially distanced day of learning aboard the Big J!
On Wednesday, January 27, at 9am, students and their parents can experience a guided tour of the Battleship and a classroom-style lesson. This two-hour session will feature the math behind aiming the Battleship’s guns. Students will be challenged to find the angles from their own “gun directors” to a target and calculate the distance from the Battleship to the enemy.
The tour will focus on the ship’s main guns and will visit the real gun directors on board. This program is appropriate for all school -aged children.

Adults are required to stay with children for their entire visit.
All guests must pass a health screening which includes a contactless temperature check, wear a face covering and practice social distancing of six feet at all times.
